Service Description
Our trainer will come and help you learn the skills of coffee-making on your own machine and with your own supplies and equipment. If you live within a 15km radius from Hobart and have a coffee station setup at home or shop, this service is perfect for you! If you live more than 15km from Hobart, we can still provide the training with a small travel fee. This session will tailored for your own particular wants and needs , be it a private 'Barista Skills Course' teaching you the skills needed to produce café quality drinks at home, or perhaps you are setting yourself up for success with a new/existing cafe staff training. Whatever your goals, we will help you reach them! We listen closely to each of our client's needs and we discuss in advance the details of the session in order to to make sure that the client will have the best learning experience possible... and in the comfort of their own space. If we can find a replacement to fill your time slot, you will be reimbursed, otherwise your booking will still stand and there will be no possibility of a refund. Cancellation Policy
Booking, Reschedule & Cancellation Policy Thanks for booking with us! Here's everything you need to know — in plain English. 1. Booking Full payment secures your spot. You'll get a confirmation email with all the details once we receive payment. Minimum age is 16. Under 18s need written consent from a parent or guardian. All prices are AUD and include GST. 2. Rescheduling Life happens — just email us at info@australiabaristatraining to move your date. More than 48 hours' notice: free. Less than 48 hours: $50 reschedule fee. Each booking can be rescheduled once. If you can't make the new date, the booking can't be refunded — but you can send someone else in your place. No-shows are treated as a last-minute cancellation (non-refundable). 3. Cancellations More than 48 hours before: refund minus a $30 admin fee. Less than 48 hours: no refund, but you can send someone else (16+) — just let us know by email at least 12 hours before. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days. 4. If we have to cancel Occasionally we may need to reschedule due to low numbers, trainer illness, or events outside our control. If that happens, we'll offer you a free transfer to another date or a full refund — your choice. 5. Late arrivals Courses start on time. If you're more than 15 minutes late, you may not be able to join, and it'll be treated as a no-show. Best to leave early! 6. Special circumstances Got something serious going on — illness, family emergency? Get in touch as soon as you can. We handle these case-by-case and may ask for supporting documentation (like a medical certificate). 7. Your consumer rights Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
