Service Description

Online video call platform to practice listening and speaking English as a Barista, tailored for non-English speaker who wants to improve communication for work purposed Available languages in the class: English, Vietnamese, Mandarin. Agenda: Part 1 - You are the Customer - The participants will play the customer role and order takeaway coffee(s) through the counter. - The order can be put through randomly by that participant or can be given to read out loud in advance - The number of orders being put through will be depending on the number of participants. However, there will always be a minimum of 20 orders every session. - Occasionally, there will be some small talks happening while taking order to make the training become more realistic and enable participants to engage in a daily conversation. Part 2 - You are the Barista! - The participants will play the barista role and take coffee orders through the counter from the Trainer who will play the role of a customer - The trainer will order differently every time to each participant. The participant will need to write the order down exactly as what the trainer said. - The number of orders being put through will be depending on the number of participants. However, there will always be a minimum of 20 orders every session. - Occasionally, there will be some small talks happening while taking order to make the training become more realistic and enable participants to engage in a daily conversation. Part 3: Q&A - All the questions the participants may have will be answered during this time. Part 4: Mock Interview (Job hunting ticket only) - The participants who join this part will be prepared to have a mock interview with the trainer. - The trainer will assess the ability and suitability of each participant through job-related questions. - The trainer will give feedback to the participant at the end of the mock interview to help him/her improve in the actual interview Select your tier: Tier 1: Join in Part 1,2 and 3 with your mic muted for the whole duration (listening only) Tier 2: Join in Part 1,2 and 3 with your mic turned on to participate in the role-play Tier 3: Same as Tier 2, plus Part 4
